This page contains the terms and conditions of our services.
All text and image content required for the project, except where stated within the selected package, should be provided in acceptable digital format by the client. The client should ensure all content provided for the project has been checked for correctness. Shalom Digital performs electronic spelling and grammar checks of all textual content provided, however it is not responsible for correcting or rewriting content supplied by the client, unless specifically contracted to do so. The client is also responsible for checking all content provided by Shalom Digital for review before approving the completion of the project.
A 50% deposit is payable following sign-off on the quotation. The deposit must be paid before the commencement of work by Shalom Digital.
A 50% payment is required when the product is delivered. This is subject to change at any time and the client will be advised prior to any changes coming into effect.
Custom projects and/or high value deliverables payment terms will be negotiated upon quotation.
Support and Warranty
Shalom Digital will correct any repair to programming code that causes an operational error, if advised in writing by the client within three (3) months of invoice to the client. This warranty does not cover errors caused by third party software or if the client has altered the provided code.
Changes beyond the scope of the Quotation and/or any System Requirements documentation as signed off by the client will be charged for additionally. Changes to content, design, images and/or functionality that have previously been accepted as correct by the Client may also incur additional charges.
Please note that not all web browsers are the same. Shalom Digital uses the latest web technologies to deliver you a website that works on the latest platforms and devices. Whilst we conduct a full testing phase upon completion of the project, your website may not display in the same way across older web browsers (eg. Internet Explorer 8,9 and 10).
Any time frames or estimates that we give are contingent upon your full co-operation and the complete content and photography being made available for the work pages. During development there is a certain amount of feedback required in order to progress to subsequent phases. It is a requirement that a single point of contact be appointed from your side and be made available in order to expedite the feedback process.
Termination must be advised in writing. Shalom Digital reserves the right to pause or terminate the project if the project is delayed by client inactivity for a cumulative period of greater than two (2) months in total, and to charge a project recommencement fee of $500. Following pause or termination of the project, Shalom Digital will invoice for the total hours completed on the project by Shalom Digital, or the total project cost, whichever is the lesser fee. If the hours completed on the project are less than the deposit fee no additional fee will be invoiced.
